China Society of Automotive Engineers (China-SAE), a national academic organization, was founded in 1963. Having the qualifications of a legal corporation, it is formed based on the principle of voluntariness by automotive engineers in China. As a member of China Association for Science and Technology, it is a non-profit social organization. As an executive member of the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies, SAE-China is also one of the sponsors of the Asia Pacific Automotive Engineering Conference (APAC). Over the past five decades, we have become a pillar society to promote the healthy and sustainable development of China’s automotive industry, which has earned recognition from the domestic and international automotive industry, the society, the government and the majority of scientific and technical personnel. There are 39 branches under China-SAE, and we maintain an operational directing relationship with all the provincial societies of automotive engineers. At present, China-SAE has more than tens of thousands of individual members, and over thousands of corporate members. China-SAE is a significant force for the popularization of new ideas, technologies and notions in China’s automotive industry and act as a bridge to promote the exchanges between the domestic and international automotive industries.
